Disneyland in the spring.

The weather last Friday was so beautiful that we just had to get out. So we decided to go to Disneyland with Nanny. One of the first people that we met was the very friendly and very talkative drummer in the marching band. His name was Joe and he turned out to be an LDS man who lived in Yorba Linda! Joe said that when he retired, all he wanted to do was play in the band at Disneyland, and so that is exactly what he did. Next we saw the barbershop quartet and Archer marched right up to one of them and offered his standard greeting of "the funny face" (Aunt Anne knows this greeting very well. I was relieved when one of them bent down to reciprocate the greeting with his own version of the funny face. The flowers were in bloom all over the park and Archer just couldn't understand why there were fences all around to keep him from enjoying the flowers up close and personal. Finally he crawled under one of the barricades and smelled them for himself. We then went to Big Thunder Ranch to pet the goats and Archer peeked through the fence to see the cow. We also saw Goofy and Archer bypassed the line to give Goofy a hug, and to be honest I don't think anyone minded...too much. We had such a fun day and to top it off, I broke down and both Archer a $5 sucker. What could be better than that, oh wait, a nap.

How Fun! We haven't taken the boys in about a month or so. Nathan is getting to the point where 3 hours isn't long enough. Although it's long enough for everyone else!

I so know what you are talking about. 3 hours is enough, especially during spring break!

Caitlin, he is so cute! We miss getting to see all those boys as they're growing up. He's getting so big. I especially like the part about hugging Goofy.
